Goodman Receives Teachers’ Endorsement

The Illinois Federation of Teachers had endorsed Lee Goodman in the primary election for U.S. House of Representatives from the 10th District. “Education will be one of my highest priorities when I am elected,” said Goodman. “The Federal government has not done enough to help local schools maintain the excellence this district expects, and it has not done nearly enough to help people pay for college. I am thrilled that teachers are supporting me. There isn’t a more important group of people anywhere.”

The IFT represents over 90,000 teachers and other workers throughout Illinois. It is affiliated with the AFL-CIO.
